1948 Ford Woody 1:18 Scale Die-Cast Vehicle
The 1946-48 Woody series featured the last true wood framed bodies, with all subsequent station wagons having only wood trim pieces bolted to a steel understructure. It was powered with either an inline 6 cylinder or the famous 100 hp flathead V-8 first introduced in 1932. A standard 3-speed gear box was the only transmission offered. 1948 was also the last year Ford used 16-inch wheels and tires.
