While the CT-DH-3 has many applications, it was primarily developed to be used with CO2 equipment and exhaust type fans. Internal sensors will allow a 7° temperature comfort zone and a 7% humidity (differential) between the time the fans go ''Off ''and come back ''On'' again. Temperature or humidity raise will activate the right hand outlets and deactivate the left hand outlets. The CT-DH-3 has an internal relay that automatically switches power from the left side (CO2 Outlets) to the rightside (Exhaust Outlets) of the unit when either temperature, humidity or both are in excess of the dial settings. Plug the controller into a power surge protector to protect your valuable equipment, and then plug the surge protector into a 110 wall outlet. Set the temperature and humidity to the desired settings. The left side of the controller is normally in the ''ON'' position and is able to activate CO2 equipment as needed. The saponification process is a simple one-step reaction with no waste generated: the glycerine is split off from the fatty acids, and the fatty acids combine with the sodium or potassium to form soap, while the hydroxide forms water. The result is soap, glycerin and water (no alkali remains). Quality soap-making consists in great part in choosing the right proportions of the right oils with their different fatty acids. Most commercial soaps skimp on quality because of cost, and use lots of tallow from beef fat with a little bit of coconut or palm kernel oil. Our unsurpassed soaps use olive, hemp, and palm oils instead of tallow, and use three to four times more coconut oil than commercial soaps. Saponified coconut oil generates high-lather cleansing even in hard water because it has shorter-chain saturated fatty acids. Hemp, olive, and palm based soaps make a mild, smooth, creamy lather, because these oils contain longer chain unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Indoor gardeners, lacking the Sun, may find that Hps lamps do not supply the necessary amount of blue light to keep plants healthy. Blue light drives photosynthesis, translocates sugars and keeps the immune system working properly. Those growing areas using HPS lamps exclusively in the bloom stages of growth may experience adverse vertical stretching and blooms located only at the top of the plant. It is suggested to burn a Metal Halide lamp along side of the HPS lamp to increase sugar production and horizontal growth. Increased insectattack in the final stages of HPS only bloom growth may also be experienced. Other options would include using Sunmaster Warm Metal Halide lamps that burn at the 3 thousand Kelvin color temperature range.
