Ratcheting flip-up face shield is made of clear injection-molded optical-quality Lexan� and won't block peripheral vision. Assembly is concealed under color-matched plastic side pods. Injection-molded outer shell is made of specially modified polycarbonate alloy to absorb impacts and resist penetration. Contouredto fit 1-pc. polystyrene inner shell absorbs any residual shocks. Outer shell is sanded smooth, then painted with high-grade paint in high-gloss colors. Super-fine flakes create metallic colors for a deep, lustrous finish. Painted finish is protected by a tough clear polyurethane coating. Comfortable EPS foam interior is lined with stain and sweat-resistant plush gray microfiber nylon. Super-thick ear padding reduces noise. Easy soap and water cleanups. Includes strong black nylon chin strap (partially enclosed on each side with vinyl) with steel "D" ring plus black base and/or window rim. Meets or exceeds DOT specifications.
